Ab Raste Alag Ho Jayenge

This poem was recited by one of my batchmates (Pooja Sinha) on my 'Hostel Farewell ' day in 2005...

  Dosti ki kashti chod,
Samandar mein utar jayenge,
Naya thikana dhoondane tum kahi
Aur hum kahi aur nikal jayenge...


Chut jayega ye sath,
Sab alag ho jayenge...
Bichadane ka yah zahar bhi,
Hum Haste Haste pee jayenge....


Sath chalne ki aadat padi hai
Akele kaise chal payenge?
Bhid mein hi jayenge tanha
Sab raste alag ho jayenge...


Is tarah chala karti hai duniyaan,
Hum bhi dastoor nibhayenge
itna hi tha masteeyon ka tarana,
Ab tum koi hum koi aur geet gayenge...


Char baras ka ye Assiyaan,
Beghar hokar kaise jee payenge
Bhar aayegi aankh meri tumhari
Aur raste alag ho jayenge...


Ab rehna hoga yaaron ke bin,
Is dil ko kaise samajhayenge?
Is safar ke sathi to,
har mod pe yaad aayenge....


Beet raha hai waqt,
Fir hum kho jayenge
Tham lo in palon ko
Ab raste alag ho jayenge....

Just Because

                                                                           
Today is not a holiday
It isn’t even your birthday
But i still thought i’d like to send
A special message to my friend You make me laugh and make me smile
You ease my troubles for a while
When clouds are thick and skies are grey
You put some sunshine in my day

You’re really thoughtful sweet and kind
A friend like you is hard to find
I know i’ve told you once or twice
That i think you are very nice

But someone who’s as great as you
Should be told more often than i do
Ans so i send these words with love
Why did i send them?… Just because!!
